About The Event

Can You Handle the Truth? Conducting Effective Internal Investigations

A strong anti-harassment policy is important. A strong investigation process is critical.

When concerns arise, the real measure of leadership is not whether complaints happen it’s how they are handled. An organization’s greatest protection lies in its ability to recognize issues early, respond promptly, and conduct investigations that are fair, thorough, and defensible.

This dynamic two-part training will equip you with the practical skills to:

  • Identify when a concern warrants a formal investigation

  • Conduct timely, meaningful, and well-documented interviews

  • Maintain neutrality and credibility

  • Navigate confidentiality and retaliation concerns

  • Strengthen your organization’s complaint resolution process

Two-Part Series Format

This training is designed as a two-part experience, with each session running two hours.

  • Part One (Virtual): Foundational framework, legal considerations, and investigation mechanics.

  • Part Two (In Person): Applied learning, scenario work, and practical skill development.

While each session stands on its own and attendance at both is not required, participating in both sessions is highly recommended to gain the full benefit of the learning progression.
